Fiber Optic Installation
PWI has done it again!!! We are proving that we are the most reliable, fastest growing Wireless internet provider in the Grand Lake area. On January 4th, 2008 Precision Wireless fired up our first fiber optic pipeline.
Since the start of our company in July of 2006 our pipeline was made up with four T1 copper lines which provided 6 Megs to our customer base. In September 2007 we added two more T1 lines that bumped our bandwidth up to 9 Meg to accommodate the growth of our company. In early 07 the PWI team saw that a major upgrade was on the horizon, because of the need of reliable high speed internet in the Grove, and surrounding areas. This is when we made the decision to go full fiber. It took us about 9 months of planning to get our fiber line in, but it was well worth the wait. The fiber has allowed us to cut our latency times in half, and the great thing is that means quicker browsing for you our customers. Not only will this allow quicker response time to the internet, but the Fiber line ensures us that we have enough bandwidth to accommodate growth well into the future.
This new fiber line gives us the capability of having up to 45 meg when needed which ensures that we are looking out for our customers. Our team wants to thank you our customers for making us what we are today.
