PWI is using dual frequency technology to provide maximum service to its subscribers

900 MHz Non Line of Sight. Typical NLOS performance is up to 6 miles.
5.8 GHz Line of Sight. Typical LOS performance is 3 miles from the tower, which can be extended up to 13 miles with an optional external dish.

Media Access Control [MAC] address filtering, along with a proprietary system setup, will provide a secure wireless environment and prevent non-subscribers from hitchhiking on the system. PWI will also lock out most viruses and spy ware On-Demand through gateway appliance filtering. This technology will help prevent attacks on our network system. PWI will also be able to identify a user on our network who is spreading a virus or spy ware, and give them a chance to clean their system before we temporarily interrupt their service.
